Description:Workday Platform EngineerWe are seeking highly creative and intellectually curious Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One. As part of a team that's leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new scale, you will play an integral part in advancing Capital One's Human Resource Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your technical expertise to drive innovative solutions while leveraging Capital One's DevOps and Continuous Integration platforms.Primary responsibilities include building complex integrations using web service technologies, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSLT and providing technical expertise on Workday Studio technologies, security, troubleshooting system issues, data analysis, vendor management and coordination with other teams. Candidate should be proficient in web service/SOAP/REST/XML/XSLT coding. In addition, this role will analyze technical and systems problems and recommend automated solutions, processes and procedures for improvement. The qualified individual is required to create system specifications, write code, configure system settings, and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing. There will be opportunities to work on Workday and other HR SaaS systems with general support, enhancements, and new projects.What You'll Do:* Design and develop integrations within the Workday platform to support candidate and associate experience* Engage with other technicians across the HR Tech environment to identify innovative solutions for capturing and integrating data across the Human Resources technical landscape* Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests and conducting reviews to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded and effectively tuned for platform performance and qualityBasic Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree* At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions* At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAPAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:* Master's degree* 1+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Talent and Performance Management* 3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions* 3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP* 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service* 2+ years of experience in Agile practices About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
