Join us in supporting our country's intelligence mission as a Cyber Test Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia.Peraton is seeking a Cyber Test Engineer to collaborate with an advanced software development team building cutting edge cyber capabilities. You will provide analysis and feedback on developer provided test plans, test reports, and development documents. You will provide pre-delivery assessments, acceptance tests as well as post-delivery characterizations. As the Cyber Test Engineer you will conduct independent test events using a diverset set of test harnesses on virtual and bare metal platforms for MAC, Windows, and Linux variants.You will test embedded applications using POSIX scripting. In this position, you will work in an integrated team of cyber test engineers and digital forensics specialists making significant contributions to an exciting mission with real world stakes.QualificationsRequired: BS Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or other technical field. 12-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, digital forenscis, software testing or related work, 10-13 years of experience with an MS, 10+ with a PhD. Demonstrable experience writing test plans, test objectives and test cases. Demonstrable experience developing software or performing functional test in MAC, Windows, and Linux environments. Demonstrable experience in standing up and working in virtual machines. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
