Job Description Description: Manages a delivery portfolio, consisting of project managers responsible for overseeing infrastructure project portfolios comprised of Client's Global Workplace Services, Service Now, Disaster Recovery and Service Desk customers. The Senior Program Manager will plan, direct and coordinate activities pertaining to infrastructure technology and business programs at an enterprise level. Verifies that project goals are accomplished and aligned with agreed-upon business objectives. Communicates at both the technical level and business level with subject matter experts, ensuring that stakeholders have a clear and concise understanding of portfolio/project objectives, status, risks and costs. Client's Global Technology has adopted a hybrid work life approach where associates balance needs of customers needs working in the office when required and from home other days. The HQ work location is Remote. Availability to work outside of normal business hours may be necessary to facilitate project events. CANDIDATE PROFILE Required Experience & Education Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 7 years experience managing enterprise level infrastructure projects ($250K), including projects at a Fortune 500 company 5 years experience/proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Skype, Visio, Teams) PMP Certification Preferred: Proven track record in development of standard Project Management processes ServiceNow and ServiceNow PPM, required uses: o Project Management o Change Management o CMDB o Release Management o Issue Management o Risk Management o Making requests o Issues reporting Agile Certification SAFe Certification ITIL Certification Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Technology Areas Preferred QualificationsTechnology Specification Device Management and Imaging Airwatch, BigFix, Altiris, HDX Security Applications Trend, McAfee, Checkpoint Desktop Technologies Windows OS, macOS, Terminal Services, Virtual Desktop (VDI), Office 365 Mobile Technologies iOS, Android Conferencing Technologies Skype for Business, Surface Hub, Polycom ITSM Software and tools Service Now, CMDB Required Attributes Excellent communications skills to effectively information share with project team members and senior managers. Be available to work outside of the traditional hours and days to facilitate project events when required. Effectively works with diverse project team members with ability to instill a unified drive to achieve project objectives and milestones. Skilled in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presenting/selling them to senior management CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Project Leadership Directs the work of project team, including other project managers Functions as escalation to project teams to resolve issues Reports project status to Senior Leadership in weekly meetings Develops cost plans and project estimates for Demands in pipeline May assign projects to project managers Managing Projects Plans projects, including requirements, cost, schedule, and deliverables to meet business need. Identifies project milestones and required tasks. Manages project risk, issues and budget. Tracks project performance. Informs the appropriate stakeholders of project status and issues Interfaces with vendor(s) for programs under direct control IT Governance Maintains a proper balance between business and operational risk Ensures team members follow the defined project management standards and processes Facilitate teams to critically review current processes for effectiveness, quality and simplification Provides early warning to the business stakeholder executives regarding degraded or missed service levels Assist in promoting the implementation of best practices.
