Job Description About the Opportunity: Academic Hospital in the Washington, DC metro area has retained ICG Medical to assist in finding top talent for their new Radiation Oncology Center. The facility offers radiation oncology services to both adult and pediatric populations. There are separate positions available for Adult Radiation Oncology and Pediatric Radiation Oncology, but some cross coverage is required. The ideal candidate for the PEDIATRIC position will have 1 year of experience in one of the following areas: Pediatric Radiation Oncology Pediatric Oncology Pediatric Critical Care Pediatric PACU The ideal candidate for the ADULT position will have 1 year of experience in one of the following areas: Radiation Oncology Oncology General Summary of Position: Provides primary nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing Proton Radiation Therapy. This includes: Airway Management, monitoring, and transport of pediatric patients under sedation for Radiation Therapy. Teaches and counsels patient's family on condition and assists in care coordination between hospitals and departments.
