Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in collaboration with an industrial parts marketplace, is searching for a proactive and driven Senior Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for all accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, expense reports, general ledger reconciliations and month end closings.   • Prepare and analyze journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports on a regular basis
  • Participate in monthly forecast process
  • Process and record cash receipts, deposits and support all A/P and A/R functions
  • Oversee, monitor and improve accounting procedures, internal controls and database management
  • Assist with monthly and year-end closing including annual financial audit and creating audit work schedules
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting principles
  • Prepare periodic expense report summaries for management to review
  • Correspond with internal teams to ensure proper accounting for revenue, purchases and expenses
  • Regularly perform reconciliations of all accounts, check for discrepancies and resolve as needed
  • Apply knowledge of laws and regulations and ensure compliance to regulations, policies and procedures
  • Support multiple projects, identify opportunities and carry out ad hoc tasks

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Position requires U.S Citizenship or Green Card Holder
  • Licensed or in the process of obtaining a CPA license is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in full cycle accounting
  • Experience with US GAAP and accounting operations
  • Proficiency with Big 4 accounting and Intacct is a plus. Microsoft Office tools; advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to work collaboratively with teams
  • Detail and process oriented; ability to work on multiple deadlines driven projects
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex reports, needs and documentations
