Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Clinical Social Work Manager of the Acute Needs Assessment department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Needs Assessment Clinical Manager you will:
• Oversees a team of LCSW-Cs and LCPCs that support the Emergency Department in behavior health crisis management.
• Provides clinical guidance and supervision to Needs Assessment team members and carries out the personnel activities associated with direct staff supervision; including performance management and employee relations functions.
• Assists director with clinical oversight of Needs Assessment staff in the emergency room and office, to include - Clinicians, Coordinators, Call Specialists and Receptionists at 2 locations (WOMC and SGMC). Supports performance management through identifying, reporting and resolving workplace performance barriers and leading and developing team on best practices.
• Be responsible for staffing and scheduling for the department, ensuring adequate staffing each shift.
• Attends / Leads / Facilitates daily huddles and monthly staff meetings within the department to promote consistent communication about departmental priorities, challenges, and goals as well as organizational goals, mission, vision, and behavioral expectations.
• Assists and supports team members within the department with clinical assessments, referrals and facilitation of admissions as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by Director, Clinical Services or Vice President of Behavioral Health.

Qualifications include:
• LCSW-C or LCPC required.
• At least one year of leadership or management experience
• Clinical Supervisor credential preferred
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and rotating on-call weekends. This position also has 24/7 accountability.
