Sr. Risk Associate, Credit Solutions - Business Process Engineering

The Data Analytics and Reporting team within Commercial Bank's Credit Solutions Team (CST) i s looking for a Senior Risk Associate that will be responsible for engineering and delivering flawlessly executed processes that improve business efficiency and drive results that strengthen the credit data environment and reduce regulatory and operational risks.

The ideal candidate thrives in white space and can quickly adapt to change in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment. They will possess strong consulting skills and are able to analyze complex credit problems and design solutions that meet both the business' needs and adhere to product design norms.

We are a data-driven teamfocused on creating a premier commercial credit data ecosystem that enables risk management for the Commercial Bank. To accomplish our goals, we leverage some of the most modern platforms, tool sets, & programming languages. Be ready to work on many of the most challenging problems within Commercial Bank while unlocking new capabilities that enable our end goal of optimizing for risk management while Changing Banking for Good. Our team members independently lead data-driven projects from start to finish navigating white space problems from proposal to building the final solution into our commercial production environment, leveraging data as a tool to manage credit risk.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Leading and owning the execution and delivery of complex data-related projects
  • Developing a coherent destination strategic process structure and process designs
  • Creating business cases and working with stakeholders (Process/Product owners) to build consensus and inform priorities, and influencing leadership support for recommendations
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and reengineering solutions that streamline data solutions, reduction in resources, and shared intent
  • Engaging key stakeholders to understand process pain points and limitations
  • Creating and executing on communication plans for change management
  • Presenting your projects and/or recommendations to some of the most senior leadership members of the Commercial Bank
  • Communicating project and risk remediation needs to key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Partnering on risk management and operational process improvement work, risk assessment, and remediation initiatives
  • Integrating human centered processes with system centered solutions

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 1 year of leveraging technology to improve risk outcomes
  • At least 1 year of Project management or business consulting experience
  • At least 1 years of business process engineering experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Economics , or 5 years of Credit Risk Management experience
  • At least 1 year of coding experience in SQL or Python
  • At least 1 year of project management within a matrix organization
  • At least 1 year of story-telling experience leveraging Power Point
  • Data analysis or data science experience
