Description Well established Prince George's County law firm seeking a dependable and hard-working accounting/finance professional and Office Manager. Candidates must have 3 years' experience in accounting, including general ledger, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reports, benefit plans, budgeting, and bank reconciliations. Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi task and work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with TABS and law firm billing practices and procedures a plus. The position requires excellent organization and communication skills. Must also have experience with administrative duties as this person will also be the Office Manager of the law firm. Responsibilities- Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents- Assist with monthly accounting close- Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement- Supplementary assignments when necessary- General ledger- Accounts Receivable- Manage monthly accounting close- Look after Accounts Payable- Create cash flow projections, as needed- Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation- Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments Requirements - Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills- Self-starter and strong ethical standards- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks- Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks- Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines- Solid understanding of Administrative Assistance- Human Resources (HR) Administration experience- Prepare Invoices experience highly desired- QuickBooks experience- Basic Bookkeeping experience preferred- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites - Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
