Complete Building Services (CBS) is in search of a Journeyman HVAC Mechanic I (JHM) to support our large government facility contract at the Pentagon. Complete Building Services is in search of a full-time (JHM) support our large government facility contract at the Pentagon. The (JHM) will oversee the facility HVAC systems and equipment to ensure proper operations and preventative maintenance of components and equipment. The (JHM) shall also be responsible for the technical expertise of HVAC systems. The (JHM) shall have the ability to: Install, assemble, trouble shoot, modify, repair, and maintain HVAC systems. Repairs steam traps, relief and control valves. Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems as assigned Maintain HVAC equipment in sound operating condition Preform preventative maintenance tasks as directed The (JHM) shall possess the following minimum qualifications: Must possess a current and valid Journeyman HVAC DC or VA license; Must pass background check Must have not less than five (5) years of experience Universal CFC and EPA 608 certification Must be certified Libert or Stulz CRAC units to include DDC controls or obtain within 6 months Must possess an ability to identify common causes of HVAC failures; Must possess an ability to coordinate effective PM scheduling; Must possess an ability to establish routine testing procedures; Must possess an ability to apply PM strategies and techniques; Must possess an ability to meet project deadlines on-time; Must possess an ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work as required; A demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC systems and an ability to understand and utilize MEP drawings is required; EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
