The primary purpose of the Data Operations Support Lead is to be accountable for direct and independent management of primarily Production data jobs monitoring. This role will act as Level 1 & Level 2 support as a member of larger efforts to independently manage data enterprise components under the purview of a Data Operations Manager. Provide 24/7 support for a variety of production databases through participation in on-call responsibilities shared among the Data Operation staff. In critical situations, this responsibility may require working evening or weekend hours. Daily job monitoring - ETL & Data Lake Cronjobs, Provide support for ETL (Extract/Transfer/Load) jobs across all enterprise assets. DataLake job monitoring with Hue application, Hadoop /Spark Provides technical guidance, best practices, and mentorship to team members. Data operations support on Cloud Data Warehousing platforms (Snowflake) Act as a subject matter expert with SEV 1 and 2 incidents to ensure resolution as high priority. Participate in Month end Process execution for data loading and reporting Partner with main frame and third-party vendors on external and internal data operations for sourcing data to Data Lake, SVOT, and other Enterprise assets. Service ticket (Incident / Request) monitoring for all data issue and jobs failure Working with Enterprise data team for new projects knowledge transfer and level 1 support activities. Daily Data enterprise jobs status update in status meeting. Data Enterprise Operation Dashboard maintenance. Experience in bulk importing/Copy, ingesting CSV, XML and Flat files. Coordinate change management activity to ensure effective adoption of change, coordinate across all channels. Serve as an escalation point for any issue that cannot be resolved within the established project team. Build and contributed to a positive, team-oriented culture. Collaborate with executives and senior management to create, prioritize, and define key strategic and tactical initiatives. Ensure alignment to the appropriate delivery methodology (ie, Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) for the project. Provide guidance and oversight to project team members to assist with project delivery; build and maintain working relationships with vendors, and other departments. *This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity. * Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent a combination of education and experience in lieu of degree Required Skills Minimum five (5) years' experience with SQL servers Minimum four (4) years' experience with Visual studio 2017+ and SSMS/SSIS/SSDT (current work experience required) Experience with Hue application and Hadoop experience Minimum four (4) years' experience with ETL tool, SSIS/SSDT Minimum two (2) years' experience with Linux commands and code navigation Minimum two (2) years' experience with SQL server database & Hive database Preferred Skills Experience creating Dashboard for daily / Monthly production jobs processing Experience in managing and reviewing application log files using UNIX file system. Experience analyzing issues and data needs to reload from relational databases using Sqoop in the event of database load failure Experience pre-processing using Hive and spark. Experience using Cloud Data Warehousing platforms (Snowflake) Excellent communication skills. Supervisory Responsibility This role will not supervise employees License and Certifications There are no additional certifications required.
