POSITION PURPOSE: The Senior Engineering Analyst is responsible for leading the independent development and maintenance of the various engineering systems. These systems include, but are not limited to AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, PeopleSoft Configurator, SAP KMATs, AutoSub Access Database, PPD, and Pre-Punch Access Database. The Senior Engineering Analyst will help define processes and data structures for the maintenance and improvement/definition of these various systems and their content. The Senior Engineering Analyst will strongly contribute to the direction of engineering data and systems. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Participate and lead in teams and projects that shape the engineering data and systems. Mentor other engineering systems team members. Independently develop and maintain the global configurator product models. Lead a team in the development of global configurator product models. Deliver fully tested systems for each new product by project's launch date (as determined in Tollgate 3). Maintain global Engineering Data Transfer Tools, Standards and Templates. Maintain global PPD content and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Maintain and expand the global product submittal content and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Maintain and expand the Pre-Punch content and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Develop standards and procedure with respect to engineering data and systems. Create and define new processes and systems improvements in all regions. Train global employees on the usage of systems and tools as required. Accurately estimate and communicate project implementation actions and timelines. Support various global engineering systems by maintaining uptime and troubleshooting issues. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math or Computer Science is required. 7+ years of experience in an engineering discipline required Working knowledge of HVAC systems for closed, open, adiabatic, ice thermal units required with preference given for those with knowledge of BAC products, processes, and manufacturing operations. Proficient Autodesk CAD Products, PeopleSoft, or SAP ERP system Solid communication and collaboration skills required. Independent accountability and drive to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. NATURE & SCOPE: The Senior Engineering Analyst will report to the Manager of Engineering Systems as part of Support Systems group in Global Engineering. The position will interact with multiple departments (ie: Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, IT, and Aftermarket). The Senior Engineering Analyst works with a great degree of independence in the efficient support of BAC products and services and has no direct reports but is expected to lead teams as needed.
