We take care of these valuable team members withhighly competitive pay and benefits.Scrum Master/Software Product Manager PositionReporting: Scrum Master/Software Project Manager reports to the CTO for project performance and coordinates technical activities with the Chief Architect and VP Product Management.Role: The Scrum Master/Software Project Manager provides day-to-day technical coordination to the development team and provides process and project development guidance to more junior developers for assigned software development projects. This position works closely with both the VP of Product Management for project management and with the Chief Architect for technical coordination. Responsibilities: Technical design and implementation of product module/component development efforts. Specific responsibilities include:Keeps all parties on track and informedImplement project management/best practicesEnsure Agile engineering practices are followedCoaches team members on agile principlesHosts recurring scrum eventsHelps communicate the Product Management wish list to the project team.Remove roadblocksProposes, promotes, and implements changes to increase team productivityInnovates to optimize flow of workShortens feedback loops so corrections can be continually and timely madeFosters a culture of continuous feedback and improvement by taking appropriate risks and learning from failureAmbitiously pursues and promotes a "definition of done" from idea conception to production deploymentPromotes a psychologically-safe and blameless environmentPosition Requirements:Experience: The successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility in the design and development of complex distributed software applications. At least 3 years of this experience will be in commercial products delivered to market. At least 2 years of experience will be in a scrum master role.Skills: The successful candidate must be team oriented with strong skills in communicating complex technical information and coaching individual programmers in software development. The applicant will demonstrate an understanding of Agile methodology and Scrum rituals. Knowledge of distributed system architecture design, structured software design techniques, and modern development methodologies is essential.In addition, the candidate must have working knowledge of, and experience with Typescript, Angular, Node.js, C#, and SQL databases. Additional experience in modern DevOps mechanisms such as Docker containers and Kubernetes is desirable.Education: BS degree or above in Computer Science, Math, physical sciences, or engineering desired.
