We offer an entrepreneurial, high growth environment that values fresh ideas, candid conversations, and authentic teamwork.Amida is currently looking for a Sr. Business Development Associate, to be a member of the Business Development (BD) team to solve business and technical problems for prospective clients with specific focus on Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency (DHA) organizations and missions.You will serve as a sales and technical resource for delivering effective Amida presentations and developing superior client proposals. Be the face of Amida in penetrating and pursuing Data-Centric program requirements throughout the Defense Health ecosystem - including:Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Amida solutions and value proposition.Identify and add opportunities to the business development Pipeline.Lead the capture process for strategic opportunities.Engage in technology marketing activities.Improve competitive positioning by providing appropriate feedback to the engineering team when applicable.Assist with RFI's, RFP's, proposals etc (organization and writing).Understand the needs and pains of the customer and link them to the appropriate Amida solution(s).Provide pre-sales technical assistance and client education.Liaise with members of the BD team and other technical experts within Amida to create case studies.Present and articulate solution benefits, industry trends, and Amida past performance to explain how an Amida solution will meet the client's needs.Maintain awareness of relevant competitive solutions and define opportunities for differentiation.Create technical white papers, power point presentations, videos and demonstrations for our solutions where and when appropriate.Develop marketing concepts, tools, collateral, and content to drive wins.Ensure that Amida's BD team and channel partners have the focused technical collateral and tools to successfully position, sell, and deploy Amida's solutions.Required Skills/Experience Bachelors degree and 7+ years of related (Federal Contracting) Business Development, Capture and Bid and Proposal experience and a proven track record of successA network of Client and Industry contacts highly preferred.Extensive experience in Word, Excel and Power point.Experience with Sales Enablement and/or Account Based Marketing tools - SalesForce experience preferred.Demonstrate analytical skills, the aptitude to learn and understand technical and scientific subject matter and a strong sense of curiosity.Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.Excellent project management (certifications a plus).An understanding of "open source" business models and culture.A dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment.Ability to work independently with limited guidance and oversight.Proven technical knowledge/understanding and ability to work with a technical team.High attention to detail and the capacity to work comfortably in a rapidly changing environment.Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.Excellent presentation and creativity skills.Willingness to travel - primarily local to the DC metro area with some out of state travel.Preferred Skills Experience with Federal Capture process and tools preferred (Shipley or similar).Experience with Defense acquisitions, DFARs, and related Acquisition Vehicles.Experience successfully capturing Defense, Health IT, and Data Management related program requirements to $50M.Communication is the key to success at Amida.
