ResponsibilitiesOur Cloud Solutions (AWS/Azure) Manager will serve as a senior leader responsible for the capture and delivery of digital transformation engagements with a focus on Cloud Strategy, Adoption and Readiness consulting, Cloud Architecture and Migration Planning and rapid prototyping of Cloud capabilities. They will serve as a strategic advisor to senior clients for the development of road maps to transition from traditional IT models to Cloud-based platforms, while maintaining compliance with industry regulatory and security controls. They will define guidelines and recommendations based on leading industry practices tailored to the client's needs and infrastructure. They will maintain responsibility for the definition of system modernization road maps, including their associated product capabilities both now and in the future and work closely to vet technology decisions and impacts with all business stakeholders to ensure value, while minimizing disruption through the execution of successful deployment. They will conduct evaluations of technology standards, tools, products, and solutions to make rational design decisions from business and technical perspectives. QualificationsRequired Experience:7+ years of experience in a technical consulting, solution architect, or presales engineering role7+ years of experience in designing, implementation, or consulting with production-scale applications in a regulated, secure environment5+ years of experience developing and delivering Cloud IaaS strategies using industry leading platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Rackspace, and/or VMwareExperience in building relationships with senior public sector clients resulting in the capture and delivery of large transformation engagementsAbility to serve as a strategic advisor to senior public sector clients for the development of Cloud transformation roadmapsAbility to show a demonstrated track record of building and setting Cloud architecture strategies and prosecuting opportunitiesMaintain an active Cloud Certified Professional Certification (ie, AWS Associate Solutions Architect or similar, and/or Microsoft Azure Associate Solutions Architect Certification or similar)US Citizenship requiredMust be able to obtain Secret clearanceMinimum Years of Experience: 10Minimum Degree Required: Minimum Degree Required: 4-yrs Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred, in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldDesired Experience:Microsoft Azure Expert Level Certification (Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer)AWS Expert Professional Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Big Data or similar)Proven experience in a consulting and/or client-facing environmentWorking knowledge of emerging technologiesExperience in Agile software development Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.Compensation may vary based on education, skills, experience and location.
