Persons performing these functions, regardless of their occupational title (eg system administrator, help desk technician, information system technician etc.) are identified as part of the IA (Information Assurance) workforce and must be able to support requirements to recognize potential security violations, take appropriate action to report the incident as required by regulations, and mitigate any adverse impact in accordance with policy.
