LinQuest has a stellar 40-year track record of providing full spectrum of mission-driven multi-domain system-of-systems (SoS) architecture definition, engineering design, integration and test, and operations expertise to enable development and deployment of pre-eminent Space, Air, Land, Sea, Ground, and Cyberspace game-changing capabilities across US DOD and IC Customers' portfolios.We are seeking a Network Engineerto join our growing team in Washington DC.You will beresponsible forinstallation, upgrading, monitoring, maintaining and supporting networks for multiple Special Access Programs for bothsoftware and hardware systems. You will interact daily with Air Force program managers and industry subject matter experts across multiple domains (air, space, cyber) supporting Department of Defense (DOD), and Intelligence Community (IC) customers.Duties and Responsibilities:Manages the purchase, installation, and support of network communications included Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) systems.Supports current systems and managing complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation of various factors.Plans large-scale projects through vendor comparison and cost studies.Designs and define system architecture for new or existing systems.Supports implementation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of multiple systems.Monitors and maintain center modules and configurationsApplies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of Information Technology (IT) systems investments.Supports establishment of plans and templates in line with the overall technical architecture format and program infrastructure platform.Develops and manages technical documentation to design, test, implement, train, and transition solutions to operational support.Designs, implements, and maintains hybrid cloud integration with multiple public cloud service providers.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer or in a related field.Experience developing high-level project/work plans.Installing, configuring and managing network switches and routers (versed in OSPF, MPLS, SDN, routing/switching on Juniper and Cisco hardware platforms).Proficiency with Active Directory, domain controllers, IP addressing, DNS, remote access, VLANs, and VoIP systems.Experience in working networks at all classification levels (Unclassified/S/TS).Experience installing and configuring firewalls.Experience performing network upgrades and data migrations.Experience in large network environments with the willingness to also work in small offices.Well versed in network monitoring software.Desired Experience:Experience managing AWS/Azure environments.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (eg, cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering).14 years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.Must maintain a minimum of one IAT Level II or higher DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program security certifications in one of the following:Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA),Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE),Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) orCisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)Clearance Requirements:Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
