Role and responsibility for this position:The individual selected for this position will serve as a Program Director (PD) and will be responsible for the overall administrative program management of a large R program ($30M per year) in the Cyber area. The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy. Key responsibilities includeWorking with technical team leads to manage the team and subcontractors to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectivesWorking with the technical team leads to create a detailed program delivery schedule with clear milestones showing progression throughout the program lifecycle. Measuring and reporting program performance to customers and internal stakeholdersInterface with customers to provide programmatic status of programs and provide management documentation as requiredTracking program contract and administrative deliverables, both technical and financialWorking with internal functional organizations (contracts, subcontracts, procurement, finance, HR, security) to support the program Working with the recruiting team to meet the staffing needs of the program Qualifications: Skills and Experience You Should Possess: Education and years of experience - BS 16-18, MS 14+, Phd 10+More than 5 years of Program Management experience with programs of $20M+ in annual revenue, preferably within the cyber security R space with DoD or IC customersAn active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI is requiredStrong experience working closely with customersExperience leading an organization of 100 Full-Time-Equivalents (FTEs)Strong leadership skills and experience managing and mentoring junior employeesStrong analysis, organizational and interpersonal skillsExperience managing/working with subcontractorsExperience managing agile development effortsStrong oral and written communications skills and ability to present to large government customer audiencePreferred QualificationsSolid understanding of modern computer network operations and cyber capability development processesExperience with operational mission partners in the DoD and/or ICExperience working in Compartmented and Special Access programs (CAP/SAP)Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Security, or similar fieldSolid understanding of the basic principles of modern computer networking, including hardware, software, associated tools, protocols, and Internet architectureSolid understanding of software development and testing methodologies, as well as software security engineering Experience with the management and execution of large-scale software development and sustainment effort(s) in cyberExperience establishing and maintaining good working relationships in all levels of the organization Minimum Clearance Required:* An active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI is required.
