Responsibilities: In this role, you will:Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to scope the development efforts.Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and document software applications leveraging AWS cloud technology.Participate in the agile development and change management processes and software (eg, JIRA).Produce and maintain software/change documentation (eg, Gitlab, GitHub, Bitbucket).Interface and work closely with customer stakeholders.Conduct analysis of operational gaps and provide technical recommendations.Participate in troubleshooting/diagnostic efforts to replicate problems and test solutions.Assist with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.Identify and propose technology, process improvements and best practices for providing cyber analytic solutions for the customer.Conduct demos, presentations and briefings as required.Participate and provide input as part of Agile project daily standup, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospective meetings.Ad hoc - other duties will be assigned as needed.Provide engineering designs for new software solutionsTake a lead in software design, implementation, and testingDesign and build prototype solutionsResearch and identify application flawsRemedy development mistakesTroubleshoot and debug issues that ariseMaintain technical documentation Qualifications: Basic Requirements:Bachelor's degree and 5 years of software development experience, or a Master's and minimum of 3 yearsExperience in Python 3.xExperience with writing APIs in Python, preferably in FlaskGood understanding of server-side templating languages and frameworks, specifically as FlaskJunior-Mid level understanding of Angular or other relevant frontend languages (ie VueJs or ReactJs)Demonstrated excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to function highly in a team environmentU.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an agency level clearance - DHS EOD suitabilityPreferred Qualifications: Experience studying and enhancing UI/UX for frontend web applicationsExperience with the MITRE STIX 2.x SpecificationExperience with Python libraries that handle/manage STIX envelopes/bundles/objectsKnowledge of and current, recent experience with databases and writing basic queries.Current, active Secret or TS/SCI w/ EOD SuitabilityFamiliarity with cloud technologies, specifically AWS preferred Peraton Overview: Peraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
