Description If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. This role involves various HR duties, including recruiting, owning new hire orientation, managing the employee handbook, and handling employee relations.Responsibilities- Differentiate local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures- Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite- Design templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Collaborate with employees, upper management, and third-party vendors- Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employee- Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Accountable for completing various tasks and the daily operations of the HR department- Collaborate with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees- Conduct employee performance reviews, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections Requirements - Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects- Prior HR Generalist experience- Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)- Proven understanding local, state and federal laws- Skilled in technology applications and software, as well as social media platforms- BA or BS degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis- Prior experience implementing and coordinating Open Enrollment is a plus- Excellent written and verbal business skills - We need someone who is highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity- Experience with full cycle recruitingWe want to hear from you if you have the right skills for this role and are available to start immediately!. -Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
