Description Our reputable client is seeking a VP of Finance & Accounting to join the company. The VP of Finance & Accounting must have an ability to work well with the owners and other senior executives, as well as strong analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills. Candidates with a combination of Finance, Accounting and IT knowledge are preferred. Then this may be the role for you.Responsibilities- Strategically manage the accounting and finance functions- Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades- Hire, train and retain finance and accounting staff- Supervise all finance personnel- Ability to advise about strategy and help the company to double in size- Have staff comply with state and federal laws and company's policies- Recommend improvements to continue the integrity of a company's financial information- Examine the organization's operations and determine if cash flow is appropriate- Own vendor relationships- Govern accounting policies, procedures and internal controls- Preside over independent auditor relationships- Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements- Handle investor and investment institution relationshipsThe ideal candidate for this VP of Finance & Accounting role will have 10+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting and systems implementations, BS in Accounting or Finance (MBA+), advanced knowledge in data analytics, forecasting, financing, investing, supervisory and acquisitions.
