We cover all areas of video processing from algorithmic work on pre-processing and compression to system level design on how to build scalable communications solutions. Video Quality metrics and hardware specific performance optimizations are also areas thats very important to us. Required Skills: Software Engineer - Video Responsibilities: R&D in the areas of video processing, pre-processing, and compression, to deliver best-in-class quality across the Meta family of apps. Hardware specific video optimizations leveraging HW encoder/decode, GPU etc. Work closely with cross-functional teams - camera, calling, media server, networking - to understand features, operation, and specify enhancements. Extend the Remote Presence video platform for Metaverse with more immersive experiences than 2D video.
