We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources professional to join the Ingleside team and serve the many stakeholders at Westminster at Lake Ridge. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating the personnel function within the Ingleside at Rock Creek community in recruiting, hiring, training, handling employee relations and adverse actions. This position is responsible for all required reporting such as the EEOC, Medicaid wage survey, payroll-based journaling. Additional duties include in-service education, compensation administration, compliance and recordkeeping and overseeing payroll within the community. This position has one direct report. The incumbent will have 5 to 10 years of experience in Human Resources, very strong employee relations skills, supervisory experience, be considered a leader in the field of Human Resources, excellent leadership skills and the ability to strategically execute the HR goals for the community. Experience working in a retirement community or healthcare setting strongly desired. Attention to detail in this role is a must. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is a must, five to ten years human resources experience with SHRM certification preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal skills, and be knowledgeable on current Federal and State employment laws. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications and possess the ability to develop, interpret, and administer policies and procedures. SHRM certification preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
