Responsibilities: Our Business and IT Strategy Transformation consultants help our clients improve business value through optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of their IT capabilities. This high performing group plays a critical role in multi-disciplinary strategy teams. We enable our clients to understand, plan for, and realize strategic opportunities presented by information technology through a collection of capabilities such as Enterprise IT Management, Mission Enablement, and Technology Transformation. Qualifications: Job Description/Responsibilities: (bullet format) Direct and monitor all activities for highly complex programs from initiation to delivery, including use of Agile/Scrum methodologies Lead Program Management Office for client projects, including developing, managing, and enhancing governance models and procedures for performance, change management, issues, and risks Engage customer stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes and define success criteria Identify and document all deliverables and activities required to meet the program scope and objectives Articulate to customer stakeholders the value of recommended solutions and approaches Provide consistent and comprehensive status reporting, executive-level dashboards, project updates, ongoing cost analyses, and communication at project and executive levels Develop and manage an integrated program-level schedule encompassing many workstreams and projects that cut across multiple departments and stakeholders Oversee and manage performance including budget, schedule, forecasting, resources, and reporting Analyze and manage escalation of risks and issues; hold program sponsor(s) and individual team members accountable to effectively mitigate, manage, and resolve issues based on priority and impact Lead quality management for the program, driving to excellent client satisfaction Act as a liaison between departments and stakeholders within client organizations to ensure all business needs are being met Mentor and coach team members Required: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in IT Project Management supporting an Information System/Information Technology project. Substitution of years of experience for degree is possible Demonstrated ability to successfully manage project delivery in large, multi-team environments for complex, multi-disciplinary programs Experience monitoring project progress and implementing effective corrective actions if actual progress falls behind plan Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to offer solutions and articulate the business impact to clients in a clear and concise manner Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment Self-starter and demonstrated ability to work independently Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Excellent leadership and management skills Excellent organizational, time management and customer relation/communication skills Knowledge of project management tools (eg, Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, HP ALM), methodologies, and practices to effectively deliver within cost, schedule, and quality baselines Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Strong executive presence and proven ability to consult at all levels Understanding of how to build and leverage strong business relationships Ability to travel Hybrid Positions: Compensation may vary based on education, skills, experience and location. Selected candidate must be local and able to work from one of the following offices: Tysons, VA (HQ); Washington DC; Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Huntsville, AL as needed. Client meetings may be required in-person Preferred: PMP, Certified Scrum Master, and/or similar certifications Experience using Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodology to plan and manage work against iterations and releases Experience meeting with clients of varying levels to gather, document, prioritize, and analyze system specifications and user requirements, working closely with developers and testers in a fast-paced environment, including experience with empathic and highly collaborative user experience (UX) Design Thinking/Human-Centered Design and rapid prototyping Experience with organizational change management, software development lifecycle (SDLC), scaled agile application development, cloud, and other emerging technologies.
