Responsibilities: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a billing specialist to join our finance department. Responsibilities include processing invoices for assigned department managers; preparing client required documents; coordinating with assigned project managers to monitor status of receivables including posting of corrections, credit memos and write-offs; creating and maintaining projects in the accounting software including project billing terms and budgets; creating and maintaining billing tables; running standard reports; maintaining and organizing files. Travel may be required. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business, or related field OR, if no degree must have at least two years of accounting experience with computerized accounting systems and billing processes.
