The VP/Director, Product Management (Life Sciences) reports to the Chief Product Officer and is responsible for planning, developing, executing, and reporting on product lines and platforms within our Life Sciences vertical. The director contributes to the product team a deep knowledge of our users and customers, and the data about how our customers engage with our products. S/he also contributes to the product team a solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business - constraints from marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and privacy are typical examples. Finally, the VP/Director tracks industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to the product. The VP/Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategic product plans and for collaborating with customers, prospects, external partners and internal teams to grow our multifamily business. The VP/Director provides leadership and organizational skills to take ownership of all efforts and activities and leads cross-functional teams to ensure successful business outcomes. Responsibilities: Ensure Revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met by collaborating with prospects, customers, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer service teamsDefine the core product vision, goals, roadmap, and requirements to realize business goals and strategiesLead new product development process (Life Sciences) from conception through launch and adoptionConduct market research, competitive analysis, and pricing analysisCreate and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and product documentation such as use cases, user stories, user flows, logic flows, and functional specificationsPrioritize development activities with engineering teams and work closely with QA on acceptance testingOversee and manage project timelines, anticipate deviations from plan, and proactively identify and recommend solutions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, or related field10+ years of hands-on experience in product management, product design, user research, business analysis, or equivalent experience working in an agile development environmentExperience in the Life Sciences industry is preferredDemonstrated ability to figure out solutions to complex problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to define your argument/tell the story in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive, passion, and ability to assess and quickly understand strategic product goals and objectivesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders in a constructive and collaborative relationship Ability to deliver results, without losing track of the details, in a fast-paced environment Other Eligibility Requirements: Must be able to meet and maintain various certifications, licenses and/or registrations, in accordance with applicable state laws and as required by the electronic security regulations in the state (s) worked.Must be willing to participate in and pass the company's pre-employment screening process including a background investigation and drug screening.
