Mission:Quantum is currently seeking a qualified Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) to serve in support of the Headquarters Department of the Army HQDA G-8 at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The ORSA Analyst will support the Army's strategic equipping requirements, tracking equipment from programming to budgeting to procurement to delivery and receipt at unit level.Current SECRET clearance required. SAS experience required.This position will support the G-8 Force Development Warfighting Analysis Division (FDA) on a daily basis in the following capacity:Responsibilities: Conduct data collection, apply analytical techniques in innovative ways, and determine measures of effectiveness. Maintain and display analytic proficiency in programming and data analysis using R programming and or SAS as well as applying analytic techniques such as statistical analysis, forecasting and measurement to effect analyses (eg ANOVA, Multiple Regression), cost analysis, flow modeling, forecast modeling, linear programming, simulations and queuing theory, and business reengineering/IDEF modeling. Construct models as symbolic representations of a process, system, operations, etc. and manipulate these models via mathematical, statistical, computer or other techniques.Attention to detail and not missing project due dates a major priority.Requirements:Bachelor's degree(s) in one or more of the following disciplines: operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering (Systems or Industrial), or computer science.Demonstrated experience in conducting analytical studies using a variety of mathematical, statistical, and other operations research techniques to identify and define problems, develop and investigate alternative courses of action, and present findings and recommendations. Must be able to build, evaluate and model modernization, resourcing, equipment distribution and readiness using optimization software such as SAS, and visualize output with business intelligence tools, eg Qlik or Tableau.Have a minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties. Equivalent experience also acceptable.
