Industrial Electrician Direct Hire in York ,PA $22-$30/hr to start based on experience level Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm OT can start at 5am. This position is responsible for wiring, troubleshooting, and complete thorough startup/testing of all the types of machinery and equipment manufactured and/or distributed by our client. Role Responsibilities and Priorities:Wires and/or troubleshoots electrical equipment, cabinets and other components according to specific regulations and guidelines including OSHA standards.Makes up wiring harnesses, installs conduit and pulls wires.Maintains good housekeeping and follows safety rules 4. Must be familiar with existing codes such as NEC and JIC and OSHA regulations (but not limited to just those codes) and know how and where to get detailed information on the codes.Drills and taps holes for mounting electrical components.Uses tools such as volt ohm amp meters, wire strippers, and soldering iron.Builds machines from shop packets and schematics.Communicates non-conformances and opportunities for improvement in compliance with ISO procedures when schematics and shop packets need correctedPerforms various electrical calculations and has solid knowledge of Ohm's Law, wire gage sizes, number of allowable conductors in conduit, etc.Uses tools such as multimeter, wire strippers, soldering iron, etc.Must have considerable soldering experience.Builds all types of machines from bills of material and electrical schematics.Responsible for identifying improvements in quality, labor reduction and cost reductions.Must be familiar with codes such as, but not limited to, NEC, NFPA 79, and OSHA regulations and know how and where to get detailed information on those codes.Responsible for making improvements in quality, timeframes and cost reductions.
