We are currently hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst to work closely with our financial operations team. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for providing high level support in financial accounting and analyst tasks. Additional responsibilities include: Accurately performs analytical review of financial results and develops reports for senior leadership including monthly forecasting Serves as an information resource to Operations related to Business Operations function issues, including analyzing financial data to identify trends and patterns and all areas of day to day financial operations Participate in the month-end close process to ensure accuracy of results, includes posting journal entries and job cost entries Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares monthly report comparing standard costs to actual production costs Participates in preparation, taking and analysis of Physical Inventories Conducts detailed monthly contract reviews with project managers and/or designated Operations personnel Assists with the review and projection of job costs, AR collections process and cash flow Provides support to Group Controller and Business Unit personnel during annual budget preparation process and the overall analytical review and interpretation of the results Leads or participates in special projects as required, including assisting with the year-end financial audit Collects, interprets and summarizes financial data in order to respond to internal and external customer inquiries ?What you need to succeed: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance 5-7 years of finance / accounting experience Proven experience with account reconciliations, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, income tax and use tax Prior experience reviewing and analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports, statements and projections Prior experience with analyzing manufacturing production rates, raw material costs, etc. Proactive, analytical troubleshooter/problem-solver Prior experience job costing and providing job financial reviews Ability to function well in a team and autonomous environment Excellent MS Office skills to include advanced Excel experience Skilled at multi-tasking with strong organization and attention to detail Candidates who have experience in accounting roles with a manufacturing or construction company may be given preference Limited travel required for this position Our ideal candidate is an innovative but decisive individual who can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment; has the ability to set goals and expectations; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.
