CGS is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Analyst to join a fast moving, extremely active Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) environment. This position is a key role to maintain the capabilities the Army needs to remain ready and lethal on the battlefield including work and experience with GFEBS BI reporting function, GFEBS financial information, guidance for USAMRDC, and the PPBE process. This position would be in office in Fort Detrick, MD. Job Description: Experience with GFEBS financial information management system and accounting and reporting regulations. Experience with the GFEBS BI reporting function. Conducts a wide variety of cost analysis and financial analysis techniques and methodologies, formulation of procedures, and recommends guidance and instructions. Prepares independent cost estimates, develop life cycle cost estimates and analyses, and perform cost benefit and economic evaluations of current or projected programs. Collects cost and technical data, develops cost estimating methods to include modeling and statistical analysis and develops cost instructions and polices/procedures. Examines financial records, financial and management reports, management and financial controls, policies and practices. Interprets regulations and directives to create policy and guidance for USAMRDC. Reviews and recommends day-to-day adjustments when unusual accounting problems occur. Performs a wide variety of analytical tasks to support the PPBE process.
