Bank Estate Operations - Fiduciary Services Principal Coordinator

Candidates must live within approximately 100 miles driving distance of {23060, 19801} Richmond, VA, or Wilmington, DE and be comfortable coming in person whenever required with no less than 24 hours notice.

As an Ops Production Principal Coordinator for the Fiduciary Services team, you will work to deliver flawless execution when reviewing and processing legal orders associated with Power of Attorney, Guardians, and other Fiduciary Bank accounts. This role will require achieving production targets to meet service levels and responding to escalations. The position requires interaction with bank customers or their agents through email and may occasionally require an outbound call to a customer when an escalation occurs. This role requires a proactive individual with strong written communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work in gray space and to work autonomously with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Review power of attorney, guardianship, fiduciary services documents and perform account maintenance to add Fiduciary agents
  • Manage multiple deliverables and deadlines appropriately, escalate when needed, as well as meeting all regulatory deadlines
  • Actively support team projects at the request of leadership
  • Review and correct QA errors
  • Training, mentoring and coaching associates
  • Handle escalations both internally and externally
  • Partner with other teams to own and execute process improvements
  • Manage shared mailbox and respond to customers
  • Participate and actively engage in team meetings
  • Excellent organization skills, Time management skill and attention to detail
  • Able to work between different work types, as needed
  • Knowledge of Extra, Trips/UCM, Touchpoint, Ease for Associates, & Profile
  • *This role may be required to be in the office as needed for training, meetings, or work determined by leadership


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 2 years of Banking experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 2 years of Operations Production experience
  • At least 1 year of experience reviewing legal documents, such as Power of Attorney or Guardianship court orders


Work at Home Technology Requirements:
  • A secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions
  • A reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use cellular data (hot spot)
  • Cable or fiber connections are preferred
  • Internet service download speeds must be at least 5 mbps, with 10+ mbps preferred - check your download speed using a speed test. A sample one can be found here. To test your home internet from your personal computer at home, type www.speedtest.net into the web browser of your personal computer.
  • Sustained ability to maintain latency less than 250 ms in voice calls is required
  • Hard wired connectivity is preferred, any use of wireless connectivity must be Private (non-public) and password protected through WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption. If you have any questions about your encryption, please consult with your internet provider
  • A private network is password protected where you have ownership or line of site to every device on the network
  • Capital One reserves the right to request proof of internet provider, speed and service package from the associate
  • Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Capital One reserves the right to modify internet service requirements with sixty (60) days notice.
