Duties

  • Serves as the Real Estate Program Manager, responsible for all management, control, development, coordination and execution of the program.
  • Responsible for managing the efficient and effective accomplishment of the planning and execution of major projects in support of the Tulsa District Planning Program.
  • Apply an extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, methods and practices.
  • Maintain close liaison with non-federal sponsors, State and local government officials, local interest groups and others.
  • Serve as an expert on real estate policy matters in conference with Corps higher authority, other agencies and various state and local officials.
  • Manage and perform work involving project milestones and budgets.

  • Valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states required.


Qualifications

This is a Term Position : Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition.

Current permanent Army employees will have return rights COORDINATED back to their permanent position BEFORE being placed into the position.

Non-Army Applicants: Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 13 months if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of eight years and may be made permanent without further competition; non Army employee will not be made permanent.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience : One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Apply management concepts, principles, methods or practices on Real Estate program. 2) Evaluate the effectiveness of planning and execution of realty projects for Real Estate Program. 3) Provide advice and guidance on existing and proposed studies and/or real estate projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

Education

Note: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
