HR Manager 2
Overview: As a Human Resources Manager 2, you will assist in the development of organizational planning, utilizing a deep understanding of the business needs. The HRM is responsible for oversight of all HR initiatives for the non-union manufacturing facility of Red Lion. The manufacturing facility has multiple shifts, and approximately 200 employees. This role may have 1-3 direct reports. The HRM will provide local onsite HR support to serve as a strategic partner to the site Leadership team, HR support staff and the site employee population. The HRBP is responsible for end-to-end planning, support, and execution of various programs to include cross functional partnership to bring our HR Vision to life. The HRM will develop team members and demonstrate strong change agent abilities. You will ensure consistent and equitable application of organizational policies and procedures across a functional area or location. You will lead and execute on talent initiatives and act as a change agent to enable the growth & development of our people. Major Position Responsibilities: Build the Leadership Pipeline and Improve Organizational Capabilities.Leverage leadership development and training platforms to improve leadership capability to drive business performance.Educate, coach and partner with supervisors on performance management and employee development goals.Partner with the business in driving and executing learning and development programs to prepare employees for more significant responsibilities and career opportunities.Drive talent management including assessment, selection, coaching and mentoring.Develop local succession plans to ensure that we have the right talent to deliver the ambitions of the organization today and tomorrow.Build a high-performing, values-led organization through increased employee engagement, Diversity & Inclusion.Execute proactive employee engagement programs to ensure high levels of management credibility and business performance.Provide expertise in change management; drive and facilitate change communications and management in support of functional business initiatives, projects, and changes.Develop best-in-class HR programs, processes, and solutions.Provide counsel and support to managers and employees on ongoing HR initiatives and projects.Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.Ensure consistent, timely and accurate application and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures.Collaborate with managers and supervisors to develop and implement processes and tools that foster higher productivity, quality, safety, and improved retention of workforce.Analyze data, trends and metrics and drive positive actions to drive improvement.Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management; conduct various employee relations investigations as needed.Manage all local payroll and HRIS responsibilities as assigned.Assist with Business Unit wide projects and initiatives as needed.Owns and continuously improves the talent acquisition process from needs assessment to onboarding. Basic Qualifications: Education:Preferred:BA in Human ResourcesDiscipline/Major:Business Administration, Human ResourcesAdditional certifications:PHR/SHRM-CP (Preferred)Experience:5+ years of experience working in an exempt HR leadership position within a manufacturing environmentKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Experience driving culture and engagement strategies and initiatives. Working successfully with employees and stakeholders across all levels; strong influence, supporting and challenging skills.
