Overview: The Lead Marketing Specialist coordinates the activities of others in developing, implementing, and executing marketing initiatives related to product marketing, market research, internet-related marketing, and advertising. They analyze marketing data to help shape future marketing strategies and implement current marketing strategies set forth by Senior Management. The Lead Marketing Specialist works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. They determine methods and procedures on new assignments and measure all marketing efforts through use of data. Utilizing this data, they provide recommendations on how to improve the performance of the marketing programs. Responsibilities: Lead the daily activities for planning, implementing, and delivering content for the website and social channels to support the marketing function. Coordinate the flow of information and make sure dissemination aligns with the organization's marketing plan or strategy. Interact directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities. Prepare regular marketing activity reports and respond to questions from the sales organization. Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders of promotional events and campaigns, including but not limited to, trade shows, email campaigns, surveys, social media, and media planning. Measure performance of campaigns, traffic, and other marketing strategies using analytics to identify ways to improve current processes when needed. Leverage customer insight data to refine branding. Guide a team in scheduling, planning, budgeting, and managing projects to completion. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives. Provide pre- and post-sale marketing support to shareholders. Edit, write, and produce marketing materials and press releases ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines and organizational messaging. Stay current and abreast of product offerings and organizational processes to increase effectiveness of marketing strategies. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years' experience, including 0-2 years' supervisory experience or equivalent experience.
