Arrow Child & Family Ministries provides foster care & adoption services, educational opportunities and therapeutic treatment in residential settings across Texas & Maryland. Our Human Resources Generalist serves as a business partners to our Arrow offices. If you have a desire to serve, a strong human resources track record, and an eye for the details, this may be the opportunity for you.Supervisory Responsibility:This position may directly supervise staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Arrow Child & Family Ministries policies, State and Federal laws and policy and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance including coaching and future performance development; managers training needs through learning management system; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintain quality improvement goals and address at regularly scheduled staff meetings.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education, Licensure and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree (HR Management or Business-related) and a minimum two (2) years of experience in Human Resources Generalist work experience preferred. Experience in lieu of degree (6 years combined) or direct knowledge of Arrow's HR team & an Associate's degree (4 years combined) will be considered.Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and compliance programs (ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO/AAP, etc.)Certification in HR practice preferred.Experience with HRIS systems.Must be self-directed and able to multi-task successfully.Ability to positively interact in a team environment.Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
