NCS is looking for a driven Marketing Associate is responsible for developing and increasing the value of the NCS brand to attract new business and increase NCS recognition within key markets. In achieving these responsibilities, the Marketing Associate will need to understand core company goals, key stakeholders for NCS's success, and target customer needs. The Marketing Associate will work with the sales team, and various other teams across the company on short and long term projects that best position the company to appeal to key community stakeholders.Primary Responsibilities The Marketing Associate will report to the Marketing Manager or Director of Sales, and will work within the NCS marketing budget to execute on the following key work streams: Lead brand strategy and oversee all branded content Build SEO and monitor digital analytics and traffic to generate engaging content, maintain a unified branding and voice across digital platforms, and increase brand visibility. Learn and synchronize industry and customer trends to drive and inform content, aligning internal/external brand with organization's strategic objectives. Oversee website, social media platforms, press releases, key stakeholder events, and generating other branded or advertising content.Publish content on key national solar industry and local solar industry news. Generate various outward communications such as newsletters, blogs, and other publications to increase engagement with key stakeholders and customers. Identify and apply for awards, company recognition, and other opportunities to enhance brand value. Handle media outreach and placements, track engagement and earned media value, and be go between for expanding and cultivating media relationships. Responsible for generating content for, as well as monitoring the reception of. advertising campaigns, and the return on these investments to inform executive team and influence the organization's communication, brand, and market analysis strategy. Inbound Business pathways and Customer Success Assists in inbound lead generation through collaborative, creative efforts with the Sales team, including generating passive leads from website discovery, active leads from content interest, or designing campaigns to leverage customer loyalty. Build key form sales collateral, presentations, and other branded materials to assist in the sales process. Contribute to identifying key market potential and analysis, working with the Sales team to overlay geographical information with behaviors, demographics, and other market data for message and sales targeting. Assist sales in developing key customer segment personas and how to reach target customer segments.Generate content for advertising campaigns, analyzes campaign results, and understanding ROI. Creatively leverage events to drive brand interest and inbound lead generation, including appropriate, event specific collateral and working with sales to identify and prioritize specific event opportunities / strategies to maximize leads and relationship building. Provide "marketing as a service" to our customers - helping to amplify customer stories, experiences, and messages to customers' key stakeholder and generate process for customer marketing calendar throughout solar development process. Work to build broader partnerships with NCS customers by amplifying their sustainability work through digital and print forums such as press releases, social post, posters on site, volunteer events, etc. Build understanding of customer acquisition, customer lifetime value, and customer loyalty initiatives with the Sales team. Candidate Qualifications For consideration, candidates must pass all required tests or assessments and meet the basic qualifications listed below: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising or Communications Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills Strong computer skills (CRM platforms, Creative Suite & design programs, Microsoft Office, etc.) Must be proactive and take the initiative, with team-first mentality Ability to craft original insights and creative approaches to novel issues NCS is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer dedicated to diversity and the strength it brings to the workplace.
