Kforce has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking a Human Resources Generalist.Responsibilities:* In this role, the Human Resources Generalist will be assisting the four VPs and Director of Branch Operations* Linking HR information to their salary survey information* Assist in redoing the employee handbook* Organize and update employee files* The Human Resources Generalist will work with and update changes in rates for healthcare* Get some exposure to payroll (would be great if they had some experience but not required)* Assist accounting team with year-end* Automation is coming, and ADP handles the bulk of it currently; The HR Generalist will likely work with the vendor from ADP to assist in this process* Symitar experience strongly preferred - not required* MS Excel- entry level experience* Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned* Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
