Job SummaryAmentum is searching for a Program Analyst to provide support for our customer at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.We are pipelining candidates for a future role.Your financial analytical mindset will shine in this role as you use your organized and meticulous nature to provide and coordinate program acquisition, budgetary and programmatic requirements for an Army program office. You are a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and use your exceptional communication skills to excel in a team focused work environment. You'll lead activities associated with the programmatic and budgetary requirements for a ACAT 1, 2 or 3 major weapon system as you serve as a program office acquisition strategy / life cycle subject matter expert to assist programs with milestone decision efforts and program budgetary requirements.Responsibilities:Perform program analyst support within an Army program office to include creating and managing FY budgets and spend plans, forecasting of resource requirements for manpower, contracts, travel/training, equipment, supplies, and funds.Research and analyze problems in the areas of acquisition, cost, budget data, and financial planning; determine alternatives; and recommend solutions.Prepare program management correspondence (ie, letters, memos and route sheets), design charts, spreadsheets, Gantt charts, and briefing presentations, cost analysis documents and budgetary analytical reports and meeting minutes.Conduct broad strategic planning sessions, develop project implementation plans, define timelines, coordinate and execute project activities related to program budget requirements.Update, track, and maintain documentation for all budgetary actions and financial data to ensure compliance with audit procedures.Here at Amentum, we believe in fostering a sense of belonging. Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, and at least 7 years of program / budget analyst experienceOr a High School Diploma/GED, and at least 11 years of program / budget analyst experienceExperience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharepointDue to the nature of the work, must be a US citizenMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications Experience providing support for the budgetary requirements of a Department of Defense (DoD) / Army program of record (ACAT 1 to 3)Experience or familiarity with DoD Program AcquisitionExperience in utilization of General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS)Experience in Cost, Data, and Risk AnalysisPrior Project Management Support - Financial, Strategic Planning, Requirements Management, Risk ManagementKnowledge and/or experience with the following items:Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS) / FederalAcquisition Regulations (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)US Army Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT) / US Army Procurement Portfolio Management Tool (PPMT)US Army Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR)US Army P Forms Application, Procurement, and RDTE (P) FormsHQ Department of the Army Task Management Tool (TMT)General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
