Description My client is an Auto Care company in the NOVA area looking for an Accounting Clerk opportunity to join their team. If handling matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) sounds like your cup of tea, this reputable business might have an Accounting Clerk position for you. This permanent Accounting Clerk position is located in the Reston, Virginia, area. In this position, you will get terrific benefits, a wonderful work space/office, and a dynamic team culture.Your responsibilities:- Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports- Assist with other related duties and special projects as assigned- Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers- Resolve discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; generate correction documents as required- Handle accounts payable tasks: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing- General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects- Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with the collection of past due balance- Use knowledge of expenditure codes and accounting codes to accurately code documents Requirements - Outstanding data entry skills- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines- 1+ years of accounting experience required- Weekly Account Payable experience- Comprehensive knowledge of Complete Expense Reports- Experience with account reconciliation- Basic Bookkeeping experience is a mustIf you meet these requirements above, Let's connect!
