**Description:**In need of a Concrete Carpenter for a project in Southern York. Candidates must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Concrete Carpenter in a commercial construction setting. This individual needs to have proficient at CONCRETE FORMS at a large scale. For example, someone who has experience with bridge work or highway work would be ideal. Looking for at least 5 years experience. Each candidate will be responsible for the following:'- Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed- Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them- Install reinforcing rebar or mesh wire to strengthen the concrete- Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand orpower screed and float- Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affects the curing of the concrete throughout theentire process to ensure a durable, smooth and uniform finish- Produce rough concrete surface using broom- Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straightedge- Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute to directconcrete.- Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.Must Haves:1) Must have 5+ Years of Experience as a Concrete Carpenter2) Must be willing to submit to pre-screenings3) Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work.4) Must have experience in Commercial Construction5) Must be willing to work flexible hours**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
