SUMMARY Lead the development of programmatic focused solutions to support business development opportunities and projects. Provide expert advice on integrating contract and corporate solutions while linking delivery to growth goals and driving how we help employees and customers meets their needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following: Single threaded leader for Cyber Security Provide strategic leadership as it relates to Cyber Security and strive to become industry leaders in Cyber Security and Biometrics. Develop Offerings aligned with past performances and emerging trends. Recommend and participate in road mapping and delivery of Cyber Security Training. Lead by example - advise clients, mentor practitioners. Work across the organization and support your peers to build joint solutions. Inspects and evaluates delivery of Cyber Security activities to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Serves as the lead solutions architect for program, business-related opportunities, and projects in identifying and providing solution to solve complex business opportunities. Develops and maintains relationships to advance the corporate culture and become a sought-out resource for emerging challenges and issues. Maintains a robust understanding of the federal marketspace - evolving priorities, challenges, market trends and solution enhancement opportunities. Understands the competitive forces driving the federal market to ensure proposed solutions result in winning new work. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY Supervise/manage a department and have authority over hiring/firing/performance decisions . EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in business or related field and at least 10 years of experience in providing product solutions to the federal government or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have at least 5 years of leadership experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Working knowledge and understanding of solutions development expertise developing points of view, CONOPS, white papers and proposal technical sections . Excellent communication skills in presenting to a variety of audience types, including technical experts, prospective clients, teaming partners and industry groups. Experience leading, working and collaborating with other internal corporate stakeholders to successfully deliver work products. Strong analytical skills combined with strong graphical, presentation and writing skills that can be applied in different environment and scenarios. Demonstrated ability to intake complex requirements and distill the critical path and root cause and then develop a realistic, achievable and successful solution. Ability to critically assess government requirements (for example, performance work statements, statement of objectives, statements of work) and integrate industry knowledge with client knowledge to develop and write a solution that supports a compliant, compelling, cost competitive and executable solution. Ability to successfully deliver results in a variety of work environments - operating as an individual contributor, leading a team and being part of a team. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret/top secret clearance. Must have the ability to successfully pass a drug screen and a Federal Background check as a condition of employment. TRAVEL Work will require travel, including overnight stays up to 50% of the time. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Cherokee Federal employees are included as covered employees in US Presidential Executive Order 14042, which mandates COVID vaccines for federal contractors. Executive Order 14042 is currently blocked from enforcement pending court proceedings. Therefore, Cherokee Federal is halting the application of the mandate; however, if the injunction is lifted, Cherokee Federal will restore administration of the vaccine requirement.
