This position requires an active Secret level clearance Location: Based out of Alexandria, VA with OCONUS Travel Required SUMMARY Performsetup, installation, maintenance, and repair services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following: Performs all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all equipment IAW Technical Orders and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) commercial manuals. Performs inspections, equipment modifications, repairs, and identify maintenance problem areas.Maintains and repairs tasks will require competency with electrical, welding, hydraulics, glass replacement/repair, and air conditioning.Completes daily reports, OEM checklist and requirements documentation on preventative and corrective maintenance activities.Performs other job-related duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY No supervisory/management authority. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience working as a technician performing preventative, corrective, and repairs services. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Excellent oral, verbal, written communication skills.Working knowledge of operating in foreign environments.Working knowledge of repairing hydraulic systems.Working knowledge of repairing electrical control systems. WORK ENVIRONMENT Travel: ~10% to support test development.Physical requirements can include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.
