The Director sets priorities; assigns work tasks and responsibilities, and manages ABD employees.ABD Director responsibilities include: 1. Supervises the development and implementation of Accountability Board program policies and training.2. Oversees the use of data to identify trends related to the Accountability Board program.3. Manages and directs the work of the ABD and its employees, including managing daily operations; developing strategic business activities; and implementing approved strategic business activities to meet strategic goals of the organization and the FAA.4. Manages ABD resources by evaluating workload; developing and implementing standard operating procedures for ABD staff; and establishing internal controls to ensure resources are appropriately utilized.5. Oversees the preparation of Accountability Board program reports for the Administrator and FAA leadership.6.
