Bring your ideas to our important work.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Director, Proposal Management, to support ICF's Federal Sector pursuits. You will drive all aspects of the development of compelling, high quality, and compliant proposals in response to federal requirements that are large, complex, or strategic in nature within ICF's Enterprise Proposal Center. This position can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.Collaborate with senior executives, management teams, functional stakeholders, BD leads, innovation staff, partners, subject matter experts, and external consultants to provide proposal leadership, support, and overall direction for ICF's Federal pursuitsCollaborate in supporting the facilitation of solution development, shaping the work, message development, SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, and other activities related to captureManage the proposal process from pre-RFP activities through final production and close out processesPartnering collaboratively with the Technical Lead you will analyze RFP's and develop compliance documents, outlines, formats, and final productsDevelop proposal sections, as appropriate for non-technical areas, including management, past performance, and staffingDevelop and manage to the schedule for all color reviews and final productionAssist in the assembly of proposal writing resourcesIdentify potential for graphic inputMonitor development of the business / pricing proposal to ensure it is on track and in-sync with the technical proposalServe various functions, as required, throughout the proposal process, eg, Compliance Matrix Developer, Section Author, Draft Reviewer, Red Team Reviewer, etc.Manage and / or support preparation for interviews and oral presentationsMay manage more than one proposal at onceWork to continually assess and improve processes and techniquesManage people, process improvement workstreams, and / or special projectsBasic Required QualificationsMinimum 10+ years of experience managing large, complex proposalsBachelor's degree required, and a specialization in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field, is preferredExtensive experience with all aspects of Federal proposal preparation, development, and productionExperience managing people and processesProven history of leading the development of successful, high quality, high scoring proposalsProposal editing and writing experienceHigh level of proficiency in the MS Office Suite, ie, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as SharePoint and MS TeamsSound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential informationPreferred QualificationsHigh level of attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workExcellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skillsCollaborative and productive work styleComfortable working with geographically disparate teams, including all levels of internal staff and teaming partnersWilling to multi-task in a challenging environment and work to meet deadlines, which at times, may include nights, weekends, and holidaysMaintain an upbeat, positive, and constructive demeanor, whilst operating within a dynamic, high-pressure environmentExperience with state & local, or commercial, proposals and processesEffective organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Working at ICF Working at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final salary for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The salary range for Colorado is - $107,354.00-$182,501.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
