The Role The Vice President of the Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic program and project management excellence across Lumen Public Sector, ensuring the successful "end-to-end" delivery of projects and programs for our clients. The Vice President of the PMO will be responsible for aligning the people, processes, measurements, standards, and efforts across the Lumen's client service delivery chain including: network engineering, design, equipment, network construction, service delivery, and assurance. In addition, this role is the primary and overarching interface between Lumen Public Sector clients and Lumen Delivery Teams and ensures optimal alignment and coordination of all other interfaces or points of contact. The role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Public Sector. The Main Responsibilities * Collaborate with other functional units within Lumen as required to execute on timelines to meet the strategic goals. * Participate in business development and capture management gate reviews. * Interface with product management and product development organizations to ensure services and applications are completed on time, and in accordance with government standards. * Direct responsibility for organic growth within programs while maximizing profitability. * Maintain executive contact with key customers, focusing on the establishment and ongoing development of long-term relationships. * Align with industry partners/sub-contractors to successfully fulfill customer requirements. * Ensure effective communications with all key stakeholders within the wider organization, including C-level leadership. * Allocate resources to drive revenue growth. * Identify potential service delivery, operations, and product performance issues early and cross-functionally drive change to realize benefits of those changes. What We Look For in a Candidate Security Clearance - Top Secret SCI. 10+ years Management experience, with focus in government space. Responsible for program management and project management for all Federal and Government customers. This includes PM for large government contracts. Role has very high impact across Lumen and within GOVT markets group with the PMO team having a direct impact on a minimum of 80% of the revenue supported by this team. Education: Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience directing Federal Programs. Salary Min : 153270 Salary Max : 333240 This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation.
