Field Service Support for Army Programs Job Category: Engineering and Technical Support Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local What You'll Get to Do: In this role, you will assist the Army in fielding, training Soldiers on, and sustaining complex technology programs involving significant technical and schedule risks, and you will recommend innovative and practical approaches to meeting a complex set of goals and constraints. The primary focus of the role is to provide field service support to guide military capabilities through the the requirements of the DoD 5000 Defense Acquisition System. More About the Role: Responsible for providing customer support through the performance of on-site product/solution installation and sustainment. This includes overseeing and/or performing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of solution components. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the solution. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers' needs, defines next steps, and clarifies the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed. Includes any aspect of field support and is not limited to system hardware, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components. You'll Bring These Qualifications: High School, Associate, or Bachelor Degree. Minimum of five years of relevant experience. Strong oral communications skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Experience coaching/teaching/ mentoring small unit leaders of combat arms organizations. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Experience in tactical small unit operations in combat operations in Infantry, Armor, Cavalry, Special Forces, Engineer or Field Artillery Military Occupational Specialties.
