We'll cover the monthly cost of your health club membership (up to a point, of course don't go getting crazy on this one!) * New iPad when on-boarded, and it's yours to keep after a year of service we want you to have a fun way to stay connected * To learn more: Responsibilities Problem-Solving Fundamentals will Build Future Systems About the Position Responsibilities : - Working across multiple Directorates and Offices to identify and define future space capability needs - Frequent interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, and external stakeholders - Identifying and defining future space capability needs - Identifying key architecture and system level trades -Enterprise and Systems Modeling, simulation and analysis - Planning and executing Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) model development in support of systems engineering objectives and program milestones - Implementing modeling methodologies and ontologies -Providing feedback for updates to methodologies, ontologies, MetaModels, modeling best practices and quality management processes - Developing, integrating, and using Model-based Engineering (MBE) and MBSE tools -Developing engineering models for the purpose of architecture development, system decomposition, analysis and other digital engineering initiatives - Producing model views to support program milestones and documentation - Supporting efforts involving MBE and MBSE tools and procedures - Generating reports out of the MBSE tools for analysis -Supporting development of study plans for architecture development and special trade studies -Supporting integration of architectures with other components of the technical baseline -Developing enterprise, system, functional, performance and interface requirements - Preparing briefings for senior decision makers About You Your experience and expertise will allow you to ramp up quickly to support ongoing near/mid-term projects, as well as to identify and shape future initiatives in an increasingly proactive manner. Your ability to see the big picture will allow you to prioritize your time, focus on high risk mitigation, and resist lower-value competition for your time. Your ability to communicate in layers allows you to effectively communicate to diverse groups of people to ensure political, programmatic, and technical acceptance, and primarily in that order. Qualifications * Advanced degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math) or related discipline * Experience with IC customer's RFC process and the Engineering Review Board process * Experience in GEOINT phenomenologies in concept, properties and application to satisfy needs, and to inform future capability procurements * Prior experience with exploitation, analysis, tools, and methods of various airborne or spaceborne collection assets * Experience in Cameo and SysML applications * Prior US military and/or IC customer experience About Applying Go ahead, apply!
