Deputy Project Manager Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Local CACI is seeking a cleared Deputy Project Manager to support an Army Task Order that provides engineering support to maintain and operate the US Army Program located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. What You'll Get to Do: * Responsible for the performance of a relatively significant technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. * Responsible for the staffing, training, coaching, mentoring, motivation, discipline and performance evaluation of assigned employees. * Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development. * Responsible for complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and financials. * Responsible for driving recommendations through to implementation. * Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences. * Identifies, analyzes and defines project/program requirements and scope. * Exercises broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs. * Defines, acquires, and allocates budget, staff, and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the program. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * An active DoD TS/SCI with Poly clearance. * Shall have a Bachelor's Degree, in any of the following degrees programs: Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or other Engineering discipline. * Shall have ten (10) years of experience, five (5) of which were within the last five (5) years. Experience shall be in leading system and network administration activities in support of SEC software engineering environments and/or experience supporting the complete life-cycle of the software in military systems.
