Responsibilities Millennium Corporation is hiring a Software Developer in the Springfrield, VA area. Qualified candidate must have a Top Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain an SCI. * Designs, tests, and maintains software applications, and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements * Supports software development, requirements analysis, process execution, selection, and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (both new and legacy systems) * Interacts continuously with customers and development teams to gather and refine requirements * Provides visibility into progress and impediments and ensures effective communication and implementation * Analyzes and studies customer requirements to determine the most effective software and other technologies to satisfy their needs * Builds quality into the product using test-early, build-small, automated testing and balanced scope to stay on schedule * Follows a formal design process using formal user input, diagrams, and other accepted design techniques * Adheres to standards and established guidelines for development and delivery of software, applications, and content solutions * Coordinates creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrates them into a coherent design * Designs and develops visually-pleasing, content-rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation * Provide software process management and configuration management throughout the software development life cycle * Work in a hybrid cloud environment * Act as Software Team Lead * Working in an agile environment and be involved in software development lifecycle, backlog grooming * Support product owner on changes, and integration with multiple components of systems * Integrate, test and deploy on classified environments and multiple security domains Qualifications * Clearance: must have a Top Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain an SCI. * Education: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience * 6+ years of demonstrated experience with front-end and back-end technologies such as JavaScript, Java, C++, C#, or Python * Working experience in Linux * Practical experience building APIs, web services and working with SQL databases * Practical experience with tools such as: Maven, Gradle, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform * Knowledge and experience with SAFe or similar agile methodologies * Possess a technical certification Business Development Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews. Physical Requirements * Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
