We are currently looking for an experienced Appian Developer (Mid) to remotely join an opportunity we are working in Arlington, VA . Must be a US Citizen to obtain agency Public Trust Clearance. Key Responsibilities: * Utilize Appian's Best Practices and industry best practices when operating and maintaining existing solutions. * Assist with the delivery and design of Business Process Management (BPM) implementations that reduce overall project risk. * Assist with the development of solutions (platform, system, and process) based on end-user requirements. * Assist with completing the design reviews of project team deliverables to ensure adherence to best practices, maximize reuse, and minimize technical debt. Education + Experience: * Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance. * Bachelor's degree. * Experience working with non-technical business users to solve open-ended business problems using data. * Experience gathering requirements and eliciting the information needed to understand the actual outcome wanting to be achieved. * 3+ years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM. * Working knowledge of Application Servers like JBoss, WebLogic, IIS, etc. * 2+ years of experience in configuring, debugging, and systems integration, including configuring forms, reports, underlying logic, and interface components as a developer. * Experience with relational databases and SQL scripting. * 3+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies. * 3+ years of experience in the design and implementation of SOAP and REST Web Service * Good oral and written communication skills.
