Relevant experience can be substituted for education * a minimum of 12 years of experience designing, implementing IT infrastructure solutions. * demonstrated experience in analyzing and developing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure solutions using Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial standards. * demonstrated experience in developing infrastructure products in the form of IT roadmaps, engineering configurations, rack elevations, floor plans, lists/bills of materials, and implementation plans. * demonstrated experience in designing, planning, implementing, management, developing/maintaining infrastructure diagrams and records, evaluation of the next product offering and strategic network planning activities. * knowledge and experience must include inside plant systems, outside plant systems, data centers, local and campus area networks, telecommunications systems and architectures, and bonding/grounding systems. * an 8140/8570 IAT II compliant certificate * a BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certified * an active TS/SCI clearance. We'll REALLY love you if you have: (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out) * a MA/MS or equivalent in an IT or Engineering related discipline. * knowledge and experience with HVAC systems and auxiliary power systems. * BICSI certifications BICSI Technician, BICSI Fiber, BICSI Copper What your day will look like: * You'll work on a team that leads the development of IT infrastructure design and plans for a mission critical customer. * You'll provide expert assistance for IT Infrastructure for data centers, communication equipment rooms, and other spaces that require IT equipment. * You will work with System and Network engineer to derive requirements for IT infrastructure initiatives.
